Program advice
The Program Council is an expert body of the Academy and consists of fifteen members appointed by the Board of Directors, from among judges and prosecutors, other experts and court and prosecution staff. At least five members of the Program Council are judges, at least three are prosecutors, of which one member is proposed by the association of judges and the association of prosecutors, and one member is from the judicial and prosecutorial staff.
Responsibilities of the Program Council of the Judicial Academy:
- determines the proposal of the program for taking the entrance exam for initial training;
- determines the proposal of the final exam program of the initial training;
- determines the proposal of the initial training program for judges and prosecutors;
- appoints members of permanent commissions, with the approval of the Board of Directors;
- forms occasional commissions and working groups, in accordance with the Statute;
- establishes a proposal for a permanent training program for judges and prosecutors;
- establishes a proposal for a special training program for judge and prosecutor's assistants and interns;
- determines the proposal for the entrance exam for judge and prosecutor interns;
- determines the proposal of the training program for judicial and prosecutorial staff;
- determines the proposal of training programs for mentors and lecturers and other specialized training programs;
- appoints permanent lecturers from among judges and prosecutors with the consent of the High Council of the Judiciary, i.e. the State Council of Prosecutors;
- approves the decision on the selection of permanent lecturers who are not judges and prosecutors;
- determines the conditions for appointment and appoints mentors and temporary employees lecturers;
- determines the proposal of the rulebook for taking the entrance exam for initial training;
- determines the proposal of the rulebook for taking the final exam of the initial training;
- adopts rules of procedure on its work;
- decides on the objection to the ranking list of candidates from the entrance exam for initial training;
- performs other tasks in accordance with this law and the Statute.
