Mentors

The description of the mentor leads us to the first and most important conclusion that mentoring is  deliberate process; second, that mentoring is an educational process that encourages individual growth and development; third, mentoring is a process in which the intern acquires and applies the mentor's wisdom; fourth, mentoring is a process of helping and protecting and, finally, mentoring is about role models.

In short, mentoring is a process by which knowledge and understanding, skills and abilities can be developed in less experienced practitioners.

Who is the mentor?

The mentor also helps supports people to use their own knowledge and got the most out of their potential, developed abilities, had better results and became the person they want to be.

A mentor plays a wide range of roles for learning and support, from constant questioning and criticism to role model behavior, from helping to build one's own network of knowledge and contacts and developing personal resourcefulness to the role of listener, from helping people to understand what they want to achieve and why, to planning how to make it happen.

Create the prerequisites for the development of professionalism in holders of judiciary office by establishing clear, measurable and objective criteria for the election and career advancement and their training and professional development, in line with core values and principles the judiciary system is founded on.

Goal

Develop and conduct training programmes for holders of judiciary offices and other staff in the judiciary system, aimed at acquiring new knowledge and its promotion, development of special abilities and skills, to contribute to strengthening of professional and accountable judiciary system.
